Microchip and health card
It is recommended to correctly identify our animals; this means the insertion of a microchip and the expedition of a health card.
The microchip is a small capsule that is placed on the left side of the neck under the animal skin.This capsule is related to a numerical code, unique for each animal; at the same moment of insertion we relate this number with the owner’s details. We use the AIAC database (Catalan pet identification file).
The microchip is usually implanted at two or three months of age, but it can be placed at any time in the life of the animal.
